Assignments

Technology Challenges: If a situation arises and there are technological issues hindering a student's ability to complete an assignment, please email Mr. Weber that evening. Together, we will try to troubleshoot it at that time, and hopefully resolve the issue. Many of the assignments are linked below, and students experiencing technological difficulties can work on the assignment by writing answers on a separate piece of paper.
Late Assignment Policy: Assignments that are turned in late will be marked down by 10%. Students who receive four or more late assignments will need to attend the Homework Skills Club during their lunch hour.
Communication: Always consider your 5th Grader's assignment notebook as a first line of communication on updated information concerning homework.
Mathematics: In order to be successful in Math this year, all students must know their multiplication facts up through the 12s. Your student may practice on xtraMath at home to work on their fluency. Their PIN was emailed to them at the beginning of the year. PARENTS and STUDENTS: be sure to check out the District Math Resource Website for additional resources, including Homework Help and Parent Newsletters.
Typing Training: Students are expected to work on the Typing Training program for 30 minutes twice a week at home.
Reading: Students are expected to read daily at home for 30 minutes.
