Jeanne Witz

I have been in Education for almost 30 years as a classroom teacher, teacher assistant, and as a reading & math tutor. I have been in District 97 for 13 years. This will be my 12th year teaching first grade at Longfellow Elementary. The one thing I always say to my new "parents" is: "First grade is exhausting but very rewarding!" I love seeing the look in a child's eyes when they realize that they are reading, really reading. 

I live in Hinsdale with my husband and our six children. I enjoy walking, golfing and skiing.
