A little bit about me!
I graduated from Western Illinois University in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I also attended Northeastern Illinois University and received a master's in Literacy Education in 2014 and a master's in Educational Leadership in 2020.
I was a first grade teacher from nine years prior to becoming the Student Support Specialist. I taught for three years in Chicago and six years at Holmes Elementary School here in District 97. This will be my first year at Longfellow and I'm really excited to join the family.

I have a six-year-old son who is going into first grade this year!
