Amy Green

Hello, My name is Amy Green. I have 10 years of teaching experience in special education and have taught nearly every age, pre-school to adult literacy level. I went to the University of Illinois @Champaign-Urbana for undergarduate studies and majored in child and adolescent development. I completed my masters in Special Education (LBS1) from the U of I @ Chicago. I am a parent in the district with an eighth grader at Brooks Middle School and a junior at OPRF.  I study dance, as well, and have taught classes and choreographed for the Bravo Musical Theater Program at Brooks MS and at Ovation Academy in our community. I so enjoy being part of the incredible D97 community and staff, working together to help every child realize his/her unique gifts and abilities. I am beyond excited to be part of the Longfellow Community and look forward to meeting our youngest Bears and their families!
