There has been a great response to the Birthday Books program!  We've had so many  students that received Birthday Books that we had to move their pictures into the Gallery link on the left. If you are interested in commemorating your child's birthday with a new title from the Birthday collection, just click above to print the order form.  A special nameplate will be placed inside the  book of choice with their names and birth dates.  When the books are returned to the library, they become a part of the regular Beye Library collection. Ms. Frost and I would like to thank our Beye families for letting us participate in making these birthdays extra special. We would also like to thank you for helping our library collection grow.

Here is how to participate:

Birthday books cost $17.00.  If you would like to purchase a book for your student’s birthday, please return the birthday book order form along with $17.00 (cash or check made payable to Beye School).  Please put your form and payment in an envelope labeled Birthday Books and have your child bring it to the library.  Students can send in the form and money anytime before, during or after their birthday week.   Summer birthdays can be celebrated on their half birthday or at any time that might be special for your family.

Mr. Withers, Mrs. Frost or a parent volunteer will come to get the birthday children and help them choose their book.   A picture of your child and their book will be taken to hang in the library.  We hope you will enjoy this new way to celebrate your child’s birthday at school.  It is also a great way to help build Beye’s library collection with new literature.  Thanks to Magic Tree Book Store where we purchase these great birthday books!

If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Withers or Mrs. Frost.

Come hang out with us! We are looking for volunteers - there are many opportunities for you! Shelving and helping students find books are just a few of the ways volunteers can help. We'd love to have parents involved with our library media program. Please let us know if you would like to volunteer for a morning or afternoon time. Contact Mr. Withers or Ms. Frost and let us know you'd like to help.
