Nourish to Flourish Program
The District's Wellness Council is celebrating the second month of its Nourish to Flourish program, which provides tips to help children succeed both in and out of the classroom. The focus for this month is the benefits of exercise and movement.

Oak Leaves Publishes Several District-Related Stories
The February 4 edition of the Oak Leaves featured several district-related items, including an article about the inaugural State of the District Address; a story about the district's finances and the prospect of seeking a referendum; a piece about the "Sing Me to Peace" concert held at Beye; and a follow-up story regarding the presentation at the Beye PTO meeting by Shannon Sullivan from the Illinois Safe Schools Alliance.

Wednesday Journal Publishes Several District-Related Stories
There were several district-related items in the February 3 edition of the Wednesday Journal, including an article about the inaugural State of the District Address; a story and Viewpoint piece about the installation of security cameras in the middle schools; and three letters to the editor regarding the presentation at the Beye PTO meeting by Shannon Sullivan from the Illinois Safe Schools Alliance.
