Nourish to Flourish Update
We are doing an awesome job of keeping up with our "Nourish to Flourish" campaign here at Beye School. So far we have focused on the areas of breakfast, sleep, exercise, and heart health in January and February. In the month of March, which is National Nutrition Month, we will be focusing on nutrition. We will also be having our first P.A.C.K. week from March 22-26, where we will be focusing on packing more fruits and vegetables into each and every day and wearing the color of the day. Please click here to see tips for nutrition, including the specifics for each day of P.A.C.K. week.
5th Grade Breakfast
Our 5th grade students enjoyed a healthy breakfast here at Beye School. The students learned the benefits of eating a healthy breakfast on their body and how it can help them become better learners in school. A special thank you goes out to Chef Chuck Vales of Winberie's for donating his time to prepare the omelets, as well as Ellen Pimentel for purchasing the food and ingredients (paid for by PTO), and Debbie Weeks for helping set up the breakfast.
