During its regular meeting on May 25, the District 97 Board of Education approved an amended calendar for the 2021-22 school year, as well as a proposed calendar for 2022-23.
Under the new calendar, the first day of school in District 97 will be Wednesday, Aug. 25. Teacher Institute Days will be held Monday, Aug. 23, and Tuesday, Aug. 24. Winter break will officially begin Dec. 20, and school will resume on January 4. The last day of school (without any emergency days) will be June 7, 2022.
