The Intergovernmental Committee of Oak Park (IGOV) hosted its annual Spring Assembly event at Brooks Middle School, 325 S. Kenilworth, on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The focus/theme of the session, which was open to the public, was all about Oak Park government.
During “Do You Know…Oak Park Government 101,” community members were invited to learn about individual governing partners and the differences between the boards and staff responsibilities. Community members were also introduced to new village leaders.
