COVID-19 Vaccination Rates for Staff and Students
Updated June 8, 2022
District 97 Staff Vaccination Rate: 95%
District 97 Student Vaccination Rate: 80.9%
The vaccination rates were calculated using the total number of students who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine (ages 5 and up) and the total number of students who have voluntarily confirmed they are fully vaccinated by submitting documentation to the school nurse. Fully vaccinated is currently defined as being two weeks following the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna or the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
If your child is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and you have not yet submitted documentation to the school nurse, please do so by following the instructions here: https://www.op97.org/news/1727420/how-to-submit-proof-of-covid-19-vaccination-for-district-97-students.
NOTE: There are currently 106 students in the district's Early Childhood and PKP programs (Longfellow and Whittier) who are not vaccine eligible.
