Meet Mr. Weber

While growing up in southern Illinois, I was a student of many outstanding teachers who, along the way, inspired me to go into education.  One particular teacher, Mr. Block, has had a lasting impression on what I do and how I do it within the educational realm.  Mr. Block did not live beyond the age of thirty-three, but his passion for teaching is certainly carried on throughout my career and the careers of many of my classmates of that time period.  As my seventh grade instructor, he guided me through course work that became exciting and coached my confidence to a new level.  Because of his instructional demeanor and personality, I strive to be the best pedagogical educator, and live the career of a teacher.  As I approach my thirty-sixth year in education, I rededicate my time and energy in order to provide the students with the utmost educational experience Oak Park has to offer.  If one might ever see me wearing black penny loafers, know that it is a tribute to one of the finest teachers I continue to admire - Mr. Block.
