Board Meeting

Please note that the District 97 Board of Education will begin its regularly scheduled meeting at 5 p.m. (instead of 7 p.m.) on Tuesday, Oct. 14. The early portion of the meeting will be conducted in open session and used for presentations from three firms under consideration to assist with the district’s superintendent search.
This portion of the meeting is an opportunity for the community to learn more about the process and timeline for the board’s work with a search firm. The regular agenda and public comment section are anticipated to begin around 7 p.m. The board will return to closed session at the end of the business agenda to discuss the presentations and determine next steps in selecting a firm.
The board is committed to ensuring a robust and transparent process as it moves forward in hiring the district’s next superintendent.
