Thank you to those of you who came out to the School Board Meeting on Tuesday to participate in the learning session around inclusion and master scheduling to support a Multi-Tiered System of Support for students!
Next Wednesday, January 31 is the last day to complete the Illinois 5Essentials Survey! This is a unique opportunity to not only provide feedback to the school and district, but to support Hatch on a larger scale. It should only take approximately 10 minutes to complete, and we are currently at 38%. Mann school has challenged us to a competition around parent participation, so please help us reach our goal. Thank you for your support!
To take the survey:
1. Visit: http://survey.5-essentials.org
2. Click on the “Start Here” button under “Parent Survey”
We look forward to seeing everyone next Friday evening for our annual Fun Fair!
When the weather is cold, we see an increase in traffic during pickup and drop off. Please drive slowly and obey all traffic laws, especially during these times. Remember not to park in the handicapped spots as these are utilized by families that need them. The safety of our children is of the utmost importance. We thank you for your patience!

The PTO is still looking for a volunteer(s) to chair the Golf Outing Event. This event takes place in the early fall so planning would start in the spring. The chair is responsible for securing event location, collecting donations from local sponsors, advertising for the event, ticket sales, and other odds and ends that come with organizing a school fundraiser. This event does raise a nice amount of money that goes towards PTO school-sponsored events. If you are interested or want more information please contact Beth at [email protected]. Thank you!
