5/21/21

What an exciting week at Hatch! We are well into our ABC Countdown and our very own Ms. Lyles put Hatch on the map when she and her dog, Abby, were featured on Good Morning America! Some of our Hatch tigers even made an appearance. You can check it out here. What fun!

The Hatch DivCo is excited to host a Asian American Pacific Island Heritage Month event this Sunday 5/23. Given the cultural climate we are in right now, exposure is a great first step in having our children embrace cultures outside their own. It's a zoom featuring just a few wonderful Asian Cultures. To attend please sign-up here

As part of our One Book One School celebration we will be holding a Book Trailer contest. The contest is open to all Hatch students, with submissions due no later than June 7, 2021. Please see the attached flyer for details!

Hatch Library Books We hope that everyone has enjoyed reading their Hatch Library books as book checkout is done for the school year.  If you could please look around your house and return all Hatch Library books back to Hatch by the end of May, we'd greatly appreciate it!

  • Remote students can turn their books into the book drop in front of Hatch School by the Main Office at any time.
  • In Person students can please bring their books back on their library day.

As a reminder, all in-person learning students must be self-certified every morning NO LATER than 7:15 am using the CrisisGo. Thank you!!

Finish Strong: Help Us Keep D97 Safe

As COVID-19 continues to impact our community, it is critical that we remain vigilant in our efforts to keep District 97 schools safe.

The decisions we make during these next few weeks have a direct impact on our ability to maximize in-person learning for our students. Whether you are vaccinated or unvaccinated, we all have a responsibility to follow ALL safety guidelines set by state and local health departments in order to reduce potential spread of the virus.

With this in mind, please help us "Stay Safe and Finish Strong."

  • If you are sick, STAY HOME.
  • Wear a face mask or covering at all times while at school.
  • Maintain social distancing (6 feet, as much as possible).
  • Wash or sanitize your hands often.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue.
