We cannot believe there are only a few more days of this school year! This week we enjoyed an amazing PBIS celebration in which the teachers played the 5th graders in a game of kickball. All of our Hatch tigers came out to the field to cheer us on. It was wonderful to enjoy some fun in the sun together as we wrap up this incredible school year.

We have a number of events coming up next week both virtual and in person. Your child’s teacher has provided details around the specific plan for their class. Remote students attending an end of year outdoor celebration and Field Day must alert the homeroom teacher and main office in advance, self certify using CrisisGo to report to the main office at the designated time of the activity.

Field Day for K-2 will be Wednesday, June 9th from 8:15-10:50

Field Day for 3-5 Field Day will be on Wednesday, June 10th from 8:15-10:50

Masks are still required for drop off and pick up around the school property for both adults and students, even if you are vaccinated. Please continue to allow students to line up independently as only students and staff are allowed in the line up zones. Thank you for your cooperation!

As a reminder, all in-person learning students must be self-certified every morning NO LATER than 7:15 am using the CrisisGo. Thank you!!

Hatch Library Books: All Hatch library books need to be returned to Hatch. You can drop them off this weekend in the book return, which is located in front of the main entrance or your child can bring the books with them to school next week. Thank you for returning the library books so other students can enjoy the books!

Hatch Yearbooks: Anyone who ordered a yearbook, the yearbooks were sent home with students today. If your child is remote they can pick it up from the office any day next week when the office is open.

Oak Park Public Library Summer Reading Program has started! Families can sign-up now until August to participate in this year's summer reading program! Please click here to sign-up or click here to learn more about it. Either this week or next every Hatch student will receive a bead and necklace from the Oak Park Public Library to kick off their bead collection for summer reading!

Please be on the lookout as we will email report cards home at the end of next week!
