Library Policies
Hours
The Library is open during school hours. Students visit the library once a week with their classes for a lesson and book check out. There are additional times when students may visit the library to bring back and/or exchange their books.
Checkout
- Kindergarten - 2nd grade
Students are able to check out two items at a time. - 3rd - 5th grade
Students are able to check out three items at a time.
Overdues
If a student has any overdue materials that are overdue by a month, he/she will not be allowed to checkout any more items until the overdues are returned or paid for. There are no fines for overdue materials. Overdue notices are sent out every Sunday.
Lost/Damaged Materials
If a student loses or damages items from the library, they can pay $5 cash for each item. This will be refunded if/when missing items are returned.
