Dear Hatch Families and Colleagues,

               This year a few major themes will be tied into the K-5 curriculum to enhance the conceptual and technical learning that is taking place in the Hatch Art Program. Key topics will include: fostering a Growth Mindset, Ownership over learning goals and classroom environment, Social and Emotional connections, and Exploring Big Ideas that resonate across subject lines. All students are encouraged to take on the role of an Art Detective to better facilitate curiosity, close observation critical thinking and meaningful art making.
