Welcome to 2018-2019 School Year!

I am incredibly pleased and proud to be the principal for Horace Mann Elementary School. Prior to coming to Mann, I served as an assistant principal at Percy Julian Middle School for two years. I also spent two years as one of District 97's teacher leaders for mentoring and instruction, and was a kindergarten teacher and Title I Reading teacher in the district for seven years.  My husband, son and I currently live in Oak Park, which is where I was born and raised.

Having attended Mann as a child, I know firsthand about the school's long-standing tradition of excellence. In my role as  principal, I will have the privilege of working closely and collaboratively with talented educators and dedicated parents/guardians who strive each and every day to help our students learn, grow and achieve. I will also have the opportunity to give back to a community that has had a profound impact on me both personally and professionally.

I invite you to please contact me via phone (708-524-3085) or email if you have any comments, questions or feedback about Mann. In the meantime, I welcome you to another exciting year here at the home of the Mustangs.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Faith Cole
Principal
