Junior Police Explorers Club Helps Students Learn about Police Work

Junior Police Explorers is designed to provide the students at Brooks with an inside look into the job of a police officer to help them determine if they may want to pursue police work as a career. The program exposes students to several aspects of police work, including report writing, interview skills, criminal law, physical fitness, and evidence collection. Most importantly it gives the students the chance to positively interact with members of the Oak Park Police Department. The group is run by Officer Collins.
