Our Adult Learning This Week
To continue our work around the complexity of our tasks, we are in a learning cycle where we look at student work. The purpose is to ensure that our tasks promotes equity, complexity and clarity. The teacher gets valuable feedback because we review the task and ask the following questions:
- From the student perspective, what are they working on?
- Are there multiple question styles/types?
- What do you see that could help or hinder special education students?
- What learning styles/modalities are present in this task?
- Does the assignment help student acquire new knowledge or practice skills?
Student Help/Tutoring
Many of our teachers are available to your students for extra support. We understand that your child may not share this information with you...so I have attached this table to show you who helps and when.
