The trimester ends next Tuesday! This has been a great 11 weeks. As an admin team, we have spent almost 50% of our time in classrooms observing teaching and learning. This week we completed our first Instructional Round as a foursome. We are reading Richard Elmore's book to ground our work in research. It is our goal to get all of the Brooks teachers into their peers' classrooms. This sharing of information is vital to improving our practice and positively impacting student outcomes.
Canvas Calendar Check
Students should have set up their Canvas calendar in the app at the beginning of the year. They may have also synced their Canvas calendar to the Calendar app on their iPad. This Canvas Calendar presentation was a part of an advisory lesson in September, and shows where to add classes in the Canvas app and also walks through the sync process with the Calendar app. You can also review this Canvas App Set-up reminder to help you walk your student through adding classes to their calendar within the Canvas app.
