Middle Matters from the Week of March 14th

Brooks Families:

The Brooks Admin Team has been working tirelessly to complete summative evaluations. This has been a wonderful learning experience for the four of us beacuse we have had the chance to talk to teachers in depth about their practice as a group. In our summative with Beth Barton (STEM Teacher & OPTA Vice-President), she shared her philosophy of design and modeling. She tells students that their design is never done....that their design can always improve and they either run out of time or run out of interest. This statement promotes the growth mindset that we want our students to develop. Constant improvement and growth!!!
