Brooks Families:
I love this time of year. Students are in great spirits and so are teachers. If you have a moment, say thank you to someone this week. Acknowledging someone's efforts is a small way to make someone's day.
Holiday Concert (7/14)
our annual Brooks Holiday Concert is this Wednesday at 7pm in the Brooks Auditorium/ Thanks to our Music Department for such dedication and to our scholar-musicians for the gift of music.
Congrats to our Golden Apple Nominees

Speech Team Try-outs (12/14 & 12/15)
Interested in performing skits, speeches and poetry? Come tryout for the Speech Team in room B207! See this flyer for more details.
7th Grade Field Trip (12/15)
Our annual 7th grade field trip to the Wolves Game is this Thursday. This is not only an opportunity to be together as a grade level, but to apply math knowledge around statistics.
8th Grade Families:
As you know, the field trip we had planned to see a play in November fell through. We’ve been working hard on a solution and finally have one! With the $20 you already paid, your student will be able to now go on two field trips. In March/April all of the 8th grade will be going to the Holocaust Museum and in mid-May we’ll all be going to see a play at the Merle Reskin Theatre in Chicago. Thank you for your patience.
Celebrating our Brooks Garden

Yours in education,
