Welcome to 2017!
I hope you are as excited as I am about this year. We are embarking on some game changing work for our students. A team of teachers is gearing up for professional learning around personalized learning, we are tightening up our intervention work, we are making great headway with teacher leadership development and the admin team is getting into more and more classrooms.
As we make resolutions and look forward change... I was inspired by Langston Hughes' "A Dream Deferred"
Coffee with Khan (1/13 @ 8:30am)
Join me for Coffee this Friday, January 13th at 8:30am. I would love to start a conversation about equity. This is a topic that is being discussed around the country, I think it's time that we as a school community dive into it.
5 Essentials Survey (NOW!!!)
We care about you and need your voice. Please take a few moments to complete the 5 Essentials survey. The deadline is January 16th and I would love to have 50% or more parent participation. Take the survey HERE.
