As we think more about the concept of student led conferences, I want you to push yourself to move out of the traditional thinking. We want to know if students understand their learning needs and styles. We want students to talk about the gaps that they see in their learning and start to think about goal setting to fill them. Young Film Makers
The Brooks Eco Eagles film, “Yard Hunters?” was a big hit with Green Community Connections and the One Earth Film Festival. The judges loved the originality, creativity, acting, costumes, humor, and of course, content. The Eco Eagles an Honorable Mention Award at the Young Filmmakers Contest Screenings + Awards.

Holmes PTO Event
Please join the Holmes PTO Thursday, February 23rd for a community screening of National Geographic’s “Gender Revolution,” which follows reporter Katie Couric as she explores the complexities of gender identity. Learn more about gender, and terminology, and participate in a discussion about how to support students, families, and our community. Flyer Attached.
8th Grade Families:
The deadline is quickly approaching! In order to participate in the graduation ceremony, your student must have a cap & gown. Orders are due in the office by FEBRUARY 15th. Graduation pictures are Friday, February 17th. If your student is not in attendance on this day, they may participate in the retake day. Graduation t-shirt orders are due to Ms. Klein by February 15th. Please let Ms. Klein know if you have any questions.
