Mrs. Murray's Art Staff Mural Club 2015 completed the second mural in the three-part series this spring. Students and Mrs. Murray worked with our guest artist Alecks Cruz to conceptualize, design, and create the beautiful works of art filling the blank walls in the stairwell of Brooks. All three mural installations are IB concepts. Last school year, the students created beautifully dramatic renditions of each of the ten Learner Profiles. This school year, the mural brings to life three of the IB Global Contexts (globalization and sustainability, fairness and development, and identities and relationships).
Next school year a new group of students, under the guidance of Alecks Cruz and Mrs. Murray, will finish out the series.
