Officer Collins is the Student Resource Officer at Brooks Middle School and was selected as the sole D97 representative in the educational service personnel category for the Those Who Excel Awards.
Congratulations to Officer Kevin Collins for his selection as the sole D97 representative in the educational service personnel category for the 2015-2016 Those Who Excel Awards. Kevin is the Student Resource Officer at Brooks Middle School. His nomination (on behalf of the Brooks staff) referenced the fact that he has, “gone above and beyond caring for all of our students and positively impacting the overall climate and culture of our building.” It is most telling that the nomination write up also identified the fact that, “Many of our kids look up to him as a role model for social justice and leadership.”
Brooks Middle School is honored to have such a high quality “teacher” and leader on our staff.
