Message from May 8, 2020

Thank you to our Hatch families for the overwhelming amount of love and appreciation you have shown our staff during Teacher Appreciation Week.  Your support means the world to us!

Thank you also to everyone who participated in ACES this week with Mr. Cruz.  We had over 90 participants and a great time was had by all!!

As we work toward continuous improvement, your input is important to us.  At the end of each week we will send out this optional survey to families as another way of gathering information on how to best meet the wide range of student needs.

During the week of May 11th, as part of the weekly Art lessons, students will be asked to create and submit artwork in an effort to raise awareness and funds for The Hunger Challenge from Students Rebuild.  This is an opportunity for our students to experience the power of art to make positive change in the world.  For each piece of artwork submitted, the Bezos Family Foundation will donate $6—up to $700,000—to programs aimed at alleviating malnutrition and hunger-related issues for tens of thousands of children worldwide.  Check out the lesson plan HERE.  Email a photo of the artwork to your child's art teacher:  Ms. Klemp, [email protected]  Here is the link to more information about the challenge and how to enter.
