Homework Skills Group

When students receive their fourth missing assignment within a trimester, they are recommended for enrollment in Longfellow’s Homework Skills Club.  Homework Skills Club is social-academic intervention group (SAIG) designed to help meet student's needs by teaching them explicit skills of organization, planning, and work completion.  The club meets once weekly during lunch for four weeks.  

The Homework Skills Club is run by Mrs. Leanne Scaro and is designed to help students self-reflect on their needs, plan strategies to support homework completion, and practice those skills.  Our goal is that this support helps boost the overall work completion of our students.
