Welcome to Our 5th Grade Classroom!

I am excited to introduce myself as your 5th grade teacher.  After working for many years in Finance, I made a career change to Teaching and graduated with a Master of Arts in Education from National-Louis University in 2010.  I have since had the pleasure to work with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders here in Oak Park at both Longfellow and Mann Elementary Schools.

I attended 5th grade in Miami, FL, where I mainly grew up.  I currently live in Oak Park with my husband and two sons.  I love to swim (long ago I was a competitive swimmer at The Ohio State University) and enjoy reading, gardening and traveling in my spare time.
