Five Students Participate in ILMEA's Music Festival

Five Beye students showed off their musical talent at the Illinois Music Education Association's District I Elementary General Music Festival at the VanderCook College of Music this month. The group of girls joined one hundred and fifty other students from the Chicago-area on Saturday, October 26, 2019, to learn and make music with drums, ukuleles, recorders, barred instruments, and chorus.

The students participate in the chorus section singing a variety of songs including; Art Thou Troubled, Bowling Green, and Long Jump.

ILMEA advocates for universal access to comprehensive music education and provides experiences for every level of musical education.
