Virtual Board Meeting Recordings

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker issued an executive order that waives a portion of the Open Meetings Act that requires a quorum of members of a public body be physically present at a meeting location.

In order to protect the health and safety of our board of education, staff, and community members, regular board meetings are currently being held on site for District 97 Board of Education members and administrative staff only. Given COVID-19 considerations and the space constraints of the board room, the administration has determined that it is not feasible to allow members of the public to attend the meeting in-person. Meeting information will be posted with the agenda no later than 48 hours prior to the meeting. Information will also be posted on the homepage of the district website, and will be shared in the district's weekly community newsletter.

Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 11, all District 97 board meetings are being live-streamed and archived to the district's YouTube channel. Attendees will no longer utilize Zoom. Recordings of our virtual meetings before this date are linked below. Meeting agendas are posted at https://www.op97.org/boe/meeting-packets.
