Students met across grade levels with their Tiger Dens this week, working together across grade levels to create kindness flowers of what kindness means to them. Thank you to our PBIS team for designing such positive experiences for our school culture!

The 2nd and 3rd graders worked on memorizing a poem of their choosing this month, and this week they traveled to classes to recite their poems during a special Poetry Break!  Kudos to our traveling poets!!

Student Council: On Thursday, May 4th, we will begin to countdown the days to the end of school! See the Student Council Countdown List for daily happenings. This is an OPTIONAL yet fun way to celebrate the last 26 days of school. Please join in any of the activities that work for you!   There are two options for each day.

Second Step: K- Lesson 19, 1st & 2nd Booster Week, 3rd-5th Panorama
Our kindergartners began learning about solving social problems in Second Step this week.  They learned the importance of calming down, saying the problem without blame, and thinking of many possible solutions. Our first and second graders had a booster week where they caught up on social-emotional learning and social justice lessons or were retaught important expectations. Our third, fourth, and fifth graders took the Panorama student climate survey during their SEL time this week. Only Kindergarten has a home link this week!
