Hussain Ali

I am delighted to be returning to the Oak Park Team after serving as Principal in the Grosse Pointe School System for the last three years. During my time in education, I have also served as a Student Support Specialist, Interim Assistant Principal, and Classroom Teacher for primary and upper elementary students. 

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood from Western Michigan University and a Masters Degree in Education Administration from Michigan State University. Go Green! 

I was born in Lahore, Pakistan so I'm a proud first-generation American. I have three sisters and am the second oldest out of the four. During my free time, I love to spend time on the golf course, trying new restaurants and traveling. 

I am determined to build long-lasting relationships with all stakeholders in order to provide equitable outcomes for all learners. I strive towards collaborating with families to build and sustain a school environment at Mann where students feel safe, grow as leaders, are empowered, and have a strong sense of belonging.
