Chorus
The Hatch Chorus is directed by Mr. Jacobson and meets once a week during the school day. All students in 4th/5th grade are encouraged to join chorus. There is no cost or experience needed to join. Chorus provides an opportunity for 4th and 5th graders to improve their musicianship and teamwork through singing together. Students sing in canon, two/three part harmony, and they also develop the skills needed to sing independently, actively listen, and read notation. The Hatch Chorus performs throughout the year at various events, including school assemblies, the Spring Arts Fiesta, and the D97 Choral Festival.
