Below are updates from the Board of Education meeting that was held on Tuesday, September 8.
- The board held a public hearing on the tentative budget for 2015-16.

- The board approved the requests for the out-of-state and overnight field trips that are scheduled to take place during the 2015-16 school year.
- The board approved changing the dates of two of its upcoming meetings. The meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 29 will now take place on Monday, September 28 and the meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 9 will now take place on Monday, February 8.
- The board awarded contracts to several vendors for work associated with the construction of the new administration building.
- The board approved the formal contract between the district and Bulley & Andrews, LLC. During its meeting on Tuesday, May 5, the board approved the hiring of Bulley & Andrews as the construction management at risk firm for the work associated with the construction of the new administration building.
- The board reviewed a presentation about the possibility of working with a Policy Advisor Fellow from the Leadership for Educational Equity and another presentation about the potential projects the Policy Advisor Fellow could undertake on behalf of the district.
- The board reviewed information related to a donation of school supplies.
- The board reviewed the draft agenda for its meeting on Tuesday, September 28.
