The CAST Council is holding a fundraiser to honor community leader Sherlynn Reid and celebrate the 30th anniversary of her theater arts program at Julian Middle School. The event will take place on Sunday, March 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Marion Street Market. Tickets can be purchased by calling (708-524-7848) or emailing ([email protected]) Kathy Simon.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Henry E. Reid Memorial Scholarship Fund, which Reid and her three daughters established to honor her late husband’s wish to keep CAST accessible to students who could not otherwise afford to attend the program in the summer.
