Kathryn (Katie) Keuler

Hello!

My name is Katie Keuler and I am one of the kindergarten teachers at Holmes Elementary. I have been teaching kindergarten for over a decade and love forming relationships, seeing the tremendous growth throughout the year, and making school a fun, safe, and interactive place for students. My main goal every year is to help students find a love for learning that they can carry with them throughout their years in school. 

My background in education is my Early Childhood degree from Indiana University Bloomington. I also have an ESL endorsement and a masters degree in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership.

I am one of six kids in my family so I've spent a lot of time with kids, growing up, and now being an aunt to my 6 nieces and nephews. My parents are still in Milwaukee and the rest of the family is spread out across the US in San Fran, D.C., Chicago, law school, and undergrad in RI. In my free time I love to spend time with family and friends, read, cuddle with my dog Izzy, and try new restaurants in Chicago (where I live).
