Irving Teachers selected as Nora Project Grant Winner

Irving Teachers selected as Nora Project Grant Winner

We are very proud to share that Irving school placed second out of 50 schools at The Nora Project virtual training camp this summer! The Nora Project’s award-winning school programming allows students to explore disability, adaptation, and friendship in exciting and innovative ways. Our educators earned the highest combined point totals of all participating schools by providing co-taught inclusive social emotional lessons with our general education and special education students. This makes Irving uniquely poised to impact ability inclusion and social change this year.

In recognition of our teams' achievement, we received a grant for inclusion related expenditures and a trophy.  Thank you Marta Mohammad, Jen Browning, Molly Zience, Jorie Grogan, and Megan Vella for your hard work and dedication.
