Irving Principal Search: New Principal Profile and Interview Process

Dear Irving Staff and Families,

Thank you to all those who attended our town halls and completed our principal profile survey last week. Your input has been extremely valuable in helping us identify the leadership qualities and characteristics that the next Irving principal should possess.

Based on your feedback, we have created a principal profile that we are using to perform initial screenings of applicants for the position. CLICK HERE to view the Irving Principal Profile >>

Next week, selected candidates will begin interviews with Irving staff members, parents/guardians and district/school administrators. Interview team members will be selected and notified by the end of the week.

Once interviews are completed, the top candidates will be invited to participate in interviews with Dr. Ushma Shah and other administrators from central office. They will then utilize all of the information and feedback collected to select the individual who will be presented to the Board of Education for appointment to the position, pending the results of a comprehensive background check. Our current goal is to complete this entire process by mid-April.

We will continue to keep you updated on the search process. Thank you for your continued partnership in selecting the next leader for Irving Elementary School.

Sincerely,

Dr. Timothy Kilrea and Cathie Pezanoski
Co-Interim Senior Directors of Human Resources
