Nick Sakellaris
3rd Grade Teacher
My name is Nick Sakellaris. I am a third grade teacher at Irving Elementary School. This is my 29th year of teaching and they have all been at Irving. At Irving, I also a lunch supervisor five days a week, the co-director of Irving Trivia Night, the co-director of the Irving Sleepover, and the coordinator for WORM Club (a before school reading program for struggling readers in Grades 1-3). I also coach freshmen boys basketball at Oak Park River Forest High School.
My wife Courtney and I have 3 children (Michael - 14, Emma - 13, and Sam - 10) and live in the Irving Community. Sam attends Irving School and is in fourth grade. Emma is in 7th grade at Julian Middle School. Michael is a freshman at Oak Park River Forest High School.
