Nick Sakellaris
5th Grade Teacher
My name is Nick Sakellaris. I am a fifth grade teacher at Irving Elementary School. This is my 31st year of teaching and they have all been at Irving. At Irving, I am also a lunch supervisor five days a week, the co-director of Irving Trivia Night, the co-director of the Irving Sleepover, and the co-coordinator for WORM Club (a before school reading program for struggling readers in Grades 1-3). I also help coach my daughter's travel softball team called Strikes Softball Premier.
My wife Courtney and I have 3 children (Michael - 16, Emma - 15, and Sam - 11) and live in the Irving Community. Sam attends Julian Middle School and is in sixth grade. Emma is a freshman and Michael is a junior at Oak Park River Forest High School.
