Eric James
Special Education Teacher
Hi! My name is Eric James and this will be my 3rd year at Irving (Special Education). I am in my 12th year teaching (Preschool Birth-5, Kindergarten, Special Education K-5, Tutoring). I graduated from Harold Washington College, earning my Associates Degree (General Studies, Music) and Columbia College Chicago, earning my Bachelors of Arts in Teaching. I minored in Art. I graduated from National Louis University, earning my Masters of Arts in Teaching and LBS1 Endorsement.
Outside of work, I am a self-published author of 6 books. I love music (especially rock! I'll give anything featuring a guitar a chance!). I have a cat (Twilight-Midnight). I love to be outside; exploring during any part of the day. I look forward to seeing you around!
