D97 Remote Learning Day - Tuesday, February 16

Due to the predicted snowfall in the Chicago area overnight and into the morning hours, Tuesday, Feb. 16, will be a Remote Learning Day for all students and educators. District 97 schools and offices will be closed for in-person attendance, however, this is NOT a snow day

On Tuesday, all elementary and middle school students will follow the same hybrid instructional schedule we have been following for the past two weeks, but learning will take place at home. This schedule will ensure continuity of instruction with the blended learning (in-person) format.

  • Elementary: All students follow hybrid schedule remotely.
  • Middle: All students will learn remotely, following the schedules below. (click here to view)
    • 8th Grade (on-site week): Follow daily hybrid (in-person) schedule remotely.
    • 6th/7th Grade (remote week): Follow normal A/B schedule for remote learning.

Barring any additional inclement weather, we anticipate reopening our buildings for in-person learning on Wednesday, Feb. 17. However, we encourage you to continue monitoring e-mail, the district website, Facebook, and Twitter for updates about the weather and its impact on our schools.
