Nora Flynn
MTSS Interventionist
I support our Jayhawks to become close and strategic readers, critical thinkers and engaged advocates for their learning. I have taught Social Studies/History and English/Language Arts from grades 6-12 and Teacher Preparation at the college level. I now serve as a Literacy Specialist who collaborates with teams of students, families and teachers to propel our students' growing reading and writing skills.
My formal learning has taken place here:
- BA History and Teacher Preparation, Yale University
- MA Social Sciences, University of Chicago
- MA Reading Education, Concordia University Chicago
My life-long learning and teaching has taken place on four continents, but now I call Oak Park home. If you see me in the neighborhood, please wave. If you catch me at the Oak Park Public Library, please share with me what you're reading!
