BRAVO Announces Disney Productions for Summer 2018

BRAVO Performing Arts Academy at Brooks Middle School will put on three family-friendly Disney productions this summer, including two new pilots.

Junior BRAVO, featuring students in fourth through sixth grade, will kick off the summer with "Jungle Book, Kids!" on June 28 and 29. The Disney classic tells the story of Mowgli, a young boy who has been raised by a family of wolves since birth. Guided by a no-nonsense panther and free-spirited bear, Mowgli learns valuable life lessons during an epic journey of self-discovery, fun and adventure.

In July, BRAVO students in sixth through eighth grade will be among the first in the country to produce Disney's "Freaky Friday" and "Frozen, Jr."

"Freaky Friday" tells the story of a mother and daughter whose world gets turned upside down when they switch bodies and have to live a day in the other's life. "Frozen, Jr.," based on the hit film and recent Broadway reimagining, is about two princesses and sisters, Elsa and Anna. When their kingdom becomes trapped in a perpetual winter, Anna must join forces with a mountaineer and his reindeer sidekick to find her sister, Snow Queen Elsa, and break her icy spell.
