Raptivist Joey FineRhyme Discusses Climate Change, Sustainability with Oak Park Students

Joey Feinstein, an environmental raptivist better known by his stage name "Joey FineRhyme," recently visted a total of 14 public, private and parachial schools throughout Oak Park and River Forest to perform assemblies about climate change and environmental sustainability.

During his assemblies, Joey uses original rap music to educate students about the climate, energy and waste, while encouraging them to effect positive environmental change and become future sustainability leaders.

This opportunity was made possible by the members of the School Green Teams Collaborative, which is composed of green team leaders from the public private and parochial schools in Oak Park and River Forest who banded together to share ideas and resources in order to help provide children with access to environmental education that entertains and inspires.

The video included below was filmed during Joey's assembly at Julian Middle School on May 2.
