Laura Barlich

Laura Barlich is an Art Educator who studied at Illinois State University and holds a Bachelors degree in Art Education. With her K-12 Certification, she has taught in Chicago Public Schools (Westinghouse College Prep), Craftsman & Apprentice (Denver, CO) and most recently developed a K-8 program at her former school in River Forest. 

In her extensive experience, she has also facilitated leadership camps, art workshops and has taught many classes in a "non traditional setting" for the last 15 years. 

As an accomplished photographer and ceramic artist, Laura enjoys creating art regularly and is always interested in learning new techniques whenever she can.

When she's not teaching or making art, you can find Laura spending time with her husband Anthony and their two sons or doing any of her favirite hobbies/activities: running, reading, going on neighborhood walks, swimming, enjoying a chai latte, playing soccer, traveling, spending time with family/friends, and more!
