Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year !!
My name is Allison Smith (“Nurse Allison”), and I am excited to begin my second year as the Julian Middle School Nurse. 

I have worked in healthcare since 2003 and as a registered nurse since 2007. I am also a proud District 97 parent — one of my children attends Julian, and my youngest is four years old — so I truly understand how overwhelming school emails, forms, and deadlines can feel for families.

As the only nurse in the building, working alongside our Certified Nursing Assistant Ms. Bec, I deeply appreciate your partnership and attention to these important health requirements that help us keep students safe throughout the school year. Last year was my first year at Julian, and I have thoroughly enjoyed taking care of students in this age range. Their developing skills in self-autonomy and advocacy are truly impressive. As both the school nurse and a District 97 parent myself, I deeply value the collaboration between families and our health office.
