Lauren Giorango

Hi, my name is Lauren Giorango and I am your school nurse at Hatch this year. I am so excited to be joining the Hatch family. Here is a little bit about me, my husband and I have lived in Oak Park our whole lives, we have 4 kids that attend Longfellow, Julian and OPRF, and a big hairy dog. My clinical nursing background includes Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing, wound care, and orthopedic nursing. I have had the pleasure of serving the needs of our school community for the past 2 years at Julian Middle School, before that I was a school nurse for two years in a nearby community. My goal as your school nurse is to work together with all of our Hatch families and staff to maintain a healthy school environment, so that all students can be effective learners.
